All over the world more than one hundred million deaf people
are using the sign language, however the real-time
communication between the deaf and hearing people has
remained unsolved until today. In the framework of its long
term development project, Dolphio Technologies is working on
a complex sign language recognition system the realization
of which has been declared impossible by a number of professional
and research workshops. The R+D team of Dolphio Technologies
has been from the beginning convinced that the task is
in-deed manageable. As a result of our hard work, the project
has received international recognition. For example, among
130 projects it qualified for the finals of the Global Impact 2014
competition of the Singularity University CEE founded by NASA
and Google. The SignAll sign language recognition system is
able to make real-time translations from the Hungarian sign
language (HSL) and from one of the most widely used sign language
of the world, the ASL (American Sign Language). The computer
linguistic algorithms-based system is not only able to recognize
the words, but can arrange them into grammatically meaningful
sentences which offers an unprecedented help to people with
hearing disabilities and contributes to the communication
between the deaf-mutes and people who can hear.

3D Virtual Reality Engine

The custom-developed 3DVR engine of our company
is a toolkit for the creation of simulators, entertaining
and educational virtual realities for the supporting of
faster and more efficient development of games with
the experience of 3D virtual reality. With the help of
our 3D virtual reality engine the visualization rooms
and 3D labs of the games can be built from any
number and optionally placed monitors, thus the virtual
reality can be displayed on several monitors at the
same time. Every display can be customized individually,
offering a unique perspective of the virtual world and
the screens may also have curved or spherical surfaces.
The key element of our system is that it makes
synchronized 3D image making possible, thus the experience
of the virtual world can be enjoyed on all the screens
simultaneously using only one pair of 3D glasses. Our
engine supports the video card independently for
three dimensional image making and also for the
integration of the most popular game controllers and devices.

Mobile Image Processing

In our mobile image processing project we create special function libraries for gesture recognition, augmented reality (AR) and optical character recognition (OCR) which allows any developer or developing team to have access to the expert knowledge that has been developed in these three areas. The easy use of function libraries is supported by documentation and tutorials. The specialty of our development is that the function libraries are made accessible on three different mobile platforms (Android, iOS and Windows Phone).

Audience Measurement

We have developed an audience measurement system that monitors the viewing and the audience, while watching promotions and advertisements placed on difital displays. We offer this tool to advertisers and agencies who in addition to the traditional statistics of the number of visitors require more complex data about the audience demographics for their indoor/outdoor ads: our system offers unique facial recognition, the determination of the gender, age and mood of the visitors. With this custom-developed system the playing of tailored and interactive content is possible. Our solution is suitable for the identification and tracking of several dozenvisitors per camera. Thanks to its user-friendly reporting interface, the audience statistics can be checked any time, even remotely, with the support of a mobile application.
